Therefore, take up the full armor of the dream, so that you may resist on the evil day and remain standing after you have done all your duty.
Stand firm, then: take inspiration as a belt for your loins; clothe yourselves with the breastplate of Perspective; put on your feet the zeal given by art;
take up the shield of imagination, with which you can extinguish all the fiery darts of monotony.
Take also the helmet of vision and the sword of Meaning, which is the word of inspiration; pray at all times, through the word, with every prayer and supplication; watch for this purpose with all perseverance.
Pray for all creative people, and also for me, that I may speak openly to make known with frankness the mystery of Illusion, for which I am an ambassador in chains, so that I may proclaim it frankly, as I ought to speak of it.
